Sasha was found in a pet store on Christopher Street. She and her brother were there for almost four months. Jack visited them, wanting to get a dog since he'd never had one before.

He slowly introduced Sean to the idea of having a dog. They went to the pet store and sat with both dogs for an hour considering which one, if any, they should get. They left and returned the next day with their friend Win Smith, who had recenlty become a dog owner himself with Dylan (a rust-colored dauchsaund), and surprised us by purchasing Sasha for us.

She was skittish at first, but after a couple of weeks was right at home. She was named Sasha for the mysterious Russian princess in Orlando, though we found out later it's a boy's name meaning Alex.
